Flower Pot Card
So here goes the flower pot card idea again. This time I did not use my gypsy at all. I used my new bubble gum stripes imagine cartridge and chose the flower off the forever young cart. I cut it at 3.5" and then came back and did the shadow in 4". I used stickles as an accent on the white parts. I've found that using it on the image printed paper seems to bleed a bit. I suppose because it's ink jet. I but the flower pot 3.5" x 8.5" and then folded at 1.5" and then in half and folder it and cut about 1/4" or so on an angle. If you google flower pot cards, there are a bunch of tutorials online if it sounds too confusing. I used my cuttlebug folder on the flower pot rim and then inked it with silver to make it stand out. I used the butterfly off the paper lace cart and cut it at .8". The big bow was an afterthought and at first I thought it was too big, but it kinda grew on me. Ok, that's it. Oh...the flower comes out and my sentiment is inside and I cut that out with a label nestability and then added black rhinestones around that too just for another touch of bling. Thanks for looking ane wish me luck on the circle challenge again. Hopefully I can win one:)

Circle Weekly Challenge
Ok, so with Mother's Day coming up, I was trying to come up with an idea that work for that and for the challenge. The challenge this week was to make a gift card holder that incorporated at least two cricut cuts. I just love how this turned out and I'm going to try one more in my favorite colors, black and white (and a little hot pink). I was thinking how fun this idea would be to make for father's day with a bucket of soap, bucket of golf balls, etc. I think a basket of eggs for easter would be super cute too. I just love how this pulls out and you can put the gift card inside or a sentiment if you like. Off to get this submitted and keep my fingers crossed that my idea gets picked this week!
